I built this miniature rocking chair as a wedding gift for a very dear friend. It is modeled after Sam Maloof’s famous rocker. I find all fine woodworking to be a meditation of sorts and working in miniature doesn’t make it easier or faster, it just makes it different. It also whets the appetite for full sized undertakings.
