The Hugalopes are modular plush toys with configurable parts. Each part has a toggle and the furry shell hides dozens of buttonholes. It works like a fuzzy Mr. Potatohead. Removing the pillow insert turns the Hugalope into a hat while long arms with finger loops turn the hat into a puppet. And the best place for a puppet is your head.
We founded Molecular Toys & Games Inc to bring the Hugalopes to market and introduced the original prototypes with a successful Kickstarter campaign. The concept was subsequently licensed by Jakks Pacific for a mass market version known as Puppet Monsters.
